So, at the "tender age" of 45 😆 i'm a noob at this whole skating thing. I bought 8 yellow cushions and 8 purple ones. Did some experimenting and wow! I have edges now! The black hard cushions that came with my new skates were waaaay too stiff and lossening the trucks was not really working for me. So glad i got the softer cushions from this store! At first the purple cushions looked black so i thought they had sent me the erong ones, but the store oet me know that sure-grip is now using a darker purple coloring for their purple cushions. I looked and with the help of some back drop ligh, was abke to notice they are a VERY dark shade of purple. So i was sent the right ones, just don't expect the oldnlight purple color anymore if you order them. VERY satisfied with my purchase and my skating abilities are improving thanks to a simple cushion change. I'm loving the performance of the purple cushions. The yellow will be perfect once i stop shaking like Bambi in my skates. 😋
